St. Petersburg, Russia – Belarusian fashion house Apti Eziev is capitalizing on the continued popularity of camouflage for the new Fall Winter 2015/16 menswear collection. We see the staple used in combination with other colors to form a very masculine color palette that also includes denim blue, heather, gray and a large array of prints.
The shoulders on the outerwear are a bit large. However, they are not exaggerated to gorilla like proportions as we had been seeing in Paris shows. He use of wool felt and natural boiled wools give men something to look forward to when the cold Russian weather arrive.
In terms of cut and construction we see the Belorussian designer creating well-done pieces and with no reproaches to be made. This is important for consumers no matter the market.
The collection also has lots of knitwear and a few light t-shirts for looks that can be composed and layered for more comfort. However, it is interesting to note that the designer opts this season for short lengths in the trousers, which rise above the ankles and are capped off with micro-sized cuffs.
