St. Petersburg, Russia – For her MËD line, designer Olga Medvedeva sees Fall Winter 2015/16 as a time for contemporary elegance and style. She has created a collection in which we see near-pencil skirts and dresses take form. They are completed with tops with ½ and ¾ sleeves.

The winter months of Russia are extremely cold by any standards. However, Medvedeva dresses the MED woman in short skirts and even in fabrics that reveal the skin under the influence of even the smallest amount of light. Even more surprising is her light color palette, which sees her adding in lots of light early spring tones such as pastel mint, soft pink, etc.

The shapes are actual and feature lots of large-cut T-shirt forms and  inspirations that can be found again in the tops and even in the short cut dresses.

It is only towards the end of the collection where we begin to see darker tones such as burgundy, blacks and some dark geometric prints. However, she keeps continues to fully bear the legs through her short cuts.
