Lodz, Poland – Aleks Kurkowski once again proves that the sense of form and style are her second names. And this time she puts on an inspiring display of geometric shapes and forms.

The newest Fall/Winter 2015/16 collection is made of natural organic materials like silk, leather and wool. The designer neatly runs with the one color only – black. However through using the variety of materials, she gives a brand new dimension to the body. The dominant light transparency is catchy combined with the heavy wool, the asymmetry also gives unique garment’s character. The collection’s complemented by visible stitching in the pants, the multitude of buttons and as well as the loosely waist-tied leather stringy belts.

As the designer says, the collection is the simple answer to the eternal paradox of seeking perfection in imperfection. She also argues that any attempt to strive for perfection is doomed to fail, because perfection in itself does not exist.

And that sounds great, because Aleks Kurkowski’s imperfection theory is just perfect.
