Lodz, Poland- The last show of the Fashion Philosophy belonged toMaciej Sieradzky, the finalist of the first Polish edition of “Project Runway”. The collection called “Sinful Meadow” is packed with all signature details of the young designer’s style.
Fabrics used include leather, pleather, wool, fur and synthetic or natural fabrics like cotton. Clothes are paired with interesting bags, for which the author is also known for. The silhouettes are a mix of pieces read-to-wear and experimental forms, showing the designers point of view on women and men.
The dominant color is off course black, with touches of fiery red and cold silver. The mood of the garments reminded one of the 80’s, fetish fashion and roman warriors. Mainly focusing on womenswear like skirts, jackets, dresses, chunky sweaters and coats, one could find options for men also.
DZKY is known for his plaiting, which is this time visible in dresses, skirts, embroideries made out of small pieces of leather exposing the body and forming even cage-like elements. Making the models look mysterious, harsh and referring to the bondage trend. The bottoms are maxi or mini lenghts exposing the legs. Other features wort mentioning include zippers, cut-off’s, lozenges, rivets, high collars and huge pockets.
