Antwerp, Belgium – In his Fall/Winter 2015/16 menswear collection, Serbian designer Mladen Milivojevic sees the designer focusing his energy on making the three-piece suit relevant again. He cuts the trousers closely to the body. The lapels are thin. He creates vests with three rows of two buttons. He then finishes the men’s vest angular edges.

He calls upon the beautiful pastel blue that we saw in his women’s collection for the season. It adds a hint of continuity between the two collections.

Unfortunately, even though we like the double-breasted looks, we see only a few single-breasted looks. And beyond that it’s time for Milivojevic to step out of his comfort zone. Next time we will expect more diversity from him with the much-needed addition of knitwear to his universe.
