Paris, France – Jil Sander is on pitch in its Spring/Summer 2016 men’s collection. The house is focusing on its core values to create a fashionable, yet pragmatic and functional collection. It is replete with the codes for modern luxury.
The collection features an array of fabrics such as wool toile, cotton poplin, nylon, cotton and canvas on a palette of military green, black, gray and prints. Together they are used to craft appealing silhouettes that feature parkas, short cropped suits, long but light coats, and interesting shorts. They are given more liberty through an intelligent play on the use of zippers and adjustable straps.
And of course there are the hints of denim which the collection uses to bring balance options for all the age groups to which the house appeals.
