Lodz, Poland – Mixing up nerd chick with 90’s grunge fashion, here comes famed Italian designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua with the presention of his new collection for Spring/Summer 2016 at Milan’s Fashion Week.
The garments showed the now really popular, gender-blending trend. The collection features both raw and worn-out effect garments, being practical yet still eccentric. Each piece with youthful energy and sporty dynamic street wear. The fabrics used are cotton, neoprene, nylon, denim in basic colors like black, white, navy, khaki with touches of red.
One can see both baggy over-sized and skinny forms, high waists, elongated forms and multiple layers. Visually changing the silhouette, some clothes feel really slim, close to the body, even shrink down to the point of being to small.
For spring/summer the brand is offering cardigans, sweaters, coats, parkas, bomber jackets, shirts, shorts, pants, skirts, sweatshirts, jackets, tops, jumpsuits and overalls. The clothes are minimalistic. Some have prints or are even made out of lace. Still minimalistic, some are in prints and have little accessories such as combat shoes and hanging down belts.
Sure to please the younger client the collection by No. 21 is up to date with the popular nineties spirit.
