Paris, France – Last night the Adidas Originals team launched its “Tubular” line during the men’s fashion week held in Paris. The brand introduced the collection in a modern and simple way by using a group of local performers, who moved freely about the open-air venue wearing some very interesting running shorts with pockets. The venue had been decorated with architectural objects for them to move through.

The new Spring/Summer 2016 collection consists of four new styles: the X, Doom, Nova and Defiant. Each is inspired by the running technology of the early 1990s. Speaking the language of today’s youth, they respond perfectly to contemporary needs of comfort and style. Each is infused with the pre-requisite agility and lightness that are necessary for today’s busy, young urbanites.

Nic Galway, Vice-President of Global Design at adidas Originals, is behind the new collection. This Spring 2016 outing for the line is directly inspired by the Tubular 93 line. And just like it, the 2016 line is created with the signature sole unit.
