Paris, France – For the first time appears at the Paris Fashion Week an Australian accent. At the June’s edition the STRATEAS.CARLUCCI presents their S/S collection named M Y O P I A, which, as designers Mario-Luca Carlucci and Peter Strateas say, explores the contradictions between memories vs. facts, and, of course, how they intercept and create a being of their own.
The collection is dominated by the monochromatic and all-kinds grey. Regardless of the seasons, the incredible alpine snow white and blackish, black ALWAYS looks ultra-chic. The collection is the all-kind tops with wide sleeves reaching just behind the elbow. The hues are also the military-style pants with huge pockets, carelessly stringed at waist level. However, its length does not matter this summer. The crucial is the material from which it’s made. Furthermore, the STRATEAS.CARLUCCI men wear the coats from the mesh material, via male ramones to the heavy leather coats reaching below the knee. Paradoxically, men take off his suit jackets and binding up casually at the waist.
But all’s fair. The main thing is that the quality has to keep the pace, which is dictated by the designers.
And it is certainly vertiginous.
