Lodz, Poland – The modern man likes to sparkle and be noticed without over doing it. The new collection by Italian fashion house Ermanno Scervino delivers on that promise of stylish with that a little extra touch.
The mood of the work is relaxed, carefree, nonchalant yet stylish and eye-catching. It is always classy, but leaving the observer with the need for more. Each garment is lightweight and beautifully moves with the body. And it shows different styles for the different shades of men from florals, camouflage, sequin embroideries, military motifs to diagonal lines.
The casual easy-going effect starts with the wide legged pants or bermuda shorts in one color, contrasting, geometrical shapes and camo. The tops are finely tailored, padded jackets, coats or body hugging knitwear. The jackets are single or double-breasted, some made from high quality leather or with edgy military or floral embroideries. Another one can see are ripped details forming star shapes.
The accessories include maxi leather bags, narrow belts, leather sandals or slip-ons. The colors are black & white, grey, dark navy, beige, military green, yellow or pale pink nude tones. The fabrics used include linen, cotton, knitted fabric, jute, hemp, paper-cotton, sequins, wool, leather, fleece, suede and denim .
The collection as a whole is really luxurious, making the male model look masculine and proud. Surely a great deal for the modern, confident playboy. And in the end we observe a new layer in the personality of the Scervino man.
