Lodz, Poland – From a strict corporate business clothing background to a more soft, casual approach the brand Theory presents its collection for the Spring/Summer 2016 season.
The propositions are crisp, elongated, but with more soft edges. The silhouettes are clean, modern and laid back ideal for lounging or going out daytime.
The suits are relaxed, oversized with elongated forms not buttoned just tied by belt with some pockets added. The tops feature details like peplum, ruffles, t-shoulder straps, v-necks, off-shouldered necklines and simple collars. There’s also a selection of pants, wide legged cut above the ankle also with the very popular style — the cullotes. One can also find minimalistic skirts and dresses in midi and maxi lenghts.
The garments are solid one colored or in graphic prints such as pinstripe, polka dots and stripes. The majority of clothes are black and white, with some touches of burgundy, pale pink, mustard, tan, navy, burnt orange and brown. The accessories paired are bags on belts and sandals.
The collection although relaxed isn’t frumpy more polished than the most off the slow fashion options. Nonchalant simplicity is always a great option.
