Paris, France – The superwoman of the future is imagined in shimmering luxury in the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton’s artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière takes the juggernaut fashion harbinger into the future with this video game inspired collection. The cybernetic, surreal warrior girl takes over.  The perfection of synthetics is made clear to the naked eye in this out-of-this world opus. Its presence is strong in each silhouette.

The collection with its Japanese manga inspirations may be a just a tad bit too sharp for some. Yet there is a certain class about it all that cannot be ignored.  The pieces are structured and full of panels, with striking leather wear: motorcycle jackets, shorts, perfectos, skirts and pants.

Voluminous balloon skirts, ruffled shirts, loose jumpsuits and cape-like tops meet slim perfectly cut trousers and long vests. One can see a lot of color blocking, patchwork, crystal embroideries and transparent fabrics to create a 3D effect. Long lines in vests, coats and dresses team up with cropped tops and mini skirts.

The colors feature mostly black, white with pink, red, green, blue and silver. The collection includes a fair dose of high-end accessories: sacks, backpacks, micro-trunks, chain striped bags, belts, gloves, mules, sandals, platform boots and lace ups. After all, the house of Louis Vuitton made its fortune on accessories. And it would be beyond remiss of the house to not propose an endless plethora of choices in the matter for the season.

All in all, the new collection is a strong statement for the future of women’s fashion. And it is sure hit and a new course for the luxurious fashion house, now we know that not everyone will be able to afford these pieces but thankfully there is still an option, just make sure to read the Louis Vuitton Neverfull Replica review and learn more.
