Paris, France – Fashion for an exotic vacation is the leading theme behind the collection for Spring/Summer 2016 by the Italian brand DROMe.

The brand is under the artistic direction of Marianna Rosati, and it’s known for working with leather.

In the newest collection one can see all the key trends happening in fashion now: suede, metallics, fringing and chunky color blocking. You have it all: colorful stripes, pleated skirts, coats, t-shirts, jackets and casual pants. It looks earthy and tribal in a modern way. The colors are tan, blue, red, grey, charcoal and pale pink. The whole collection looks affordable and not to sophisticated that it is out of a reasonable price range.

There are things one does not enjoy the belts in some of the silhouettes. They look tacky and cheap. It’s hard to figure out what exactly is the leading motif as the theme looks a little inconsistent. Some of the details like fringes need to be more thought out. Creating a whole collection is hard work. It needs time and more thought to create a clear dialog with the clients.
