London, UK –  Cate Blanchett attended the screening of the new film,  “Truth” during the BFI London Film Festival at Odeon Leicester Square on October 17, 2015 in London, England. For the occasion she chose to wear a black velvet creation by Schiaparelli. The dress is from the current Fall/Winter 2015/16 haute couture collection.

The Australian actress and Academy Award winner looked remarkably quite well in the deep plunging V-neck dress with its ornate embroideries and hand-stitched floral appliqués.  She amazed as she didn’t seem over dressed or under dressed for the occasion. In essence she gave a true style lesson in modern elegance to the others in attendance.
