Paris, France – Wow! What is there not to appreciate about the new collection by Valentin Yudaskin? The designer’s new work for Spring/Summer 2016 is a breath of fresh air as it combines sportswear elements with glamour and high chic.
Focusing on colors of red, blush, white, purple and pink, Yudashkin works his magic by creating pieces not too tight to the body. The movement is well-considered in advance for an active and attractive woman. The geometric forms and shapes in the collection appear throughout, including in the subtle accents such as the large, soft rectangular belt buckles in gold.
Valentin Yudashkin focuses his cuts of multiple lengths in silk, mesh and sequins. The volumes are indeed ample as evidenced in the cut of the trousers and of the sleeves of the blouses. However, this writer finds irresistible the white jumpsuit with plunging neckline and large gold belt buckle. He also creates some pieces with embroideries for that hint of razzle-dazzle that we naturally expect from him and particularly for the high-jetsetting period of the warm months.
