Lodz, Poland – Tribute is the new collection by Polish designer Klaudia Markiewicz. It is her offering for the season Spring/Summer 2016 and presented during the Off Out Of Schedule.

The young designer experiments with different forms, textures and colors. The Mexican modernism is the inspiration behind her new work. Made from naturals fabrics like wool, cotton and lambs fur, with a touch of shiny, iridescent synthetics. The author likes silhouettes that are irregular, substantial and rich in details.

One could see  large oversized sweaters made out of hand tangled yarn. Other interesting garments where the tied on the waist long coats, patchwork sweatshirts and pyjamas in cow prints. The chunky tops are paired with light weight culottes pants and pleated shirts.

Worth mentioning in the work of Klaudia Markiewicz here are the abstract pieces for men — with the finish striking blue coat. To add more spice the palette reminds of Mexico with the pinks, oranges, reds, rusts, yellows, blues, greens and black.

Klaudia Markiewicz is sure of her point of view, but on the other hand the Mexican inspiration is an interesting theme worth exploring more in the future collections.
