Lodz, Poland – The young Polish street wear brand UNVTD is collaborating with the designer Jaroslaw Ewert to create its new collection for Spring/Summer 2016.
The collaboration turned out to be a modern fusion of design and form. The line includes options for both men and women. One can see the signature sharp and geometric cuts for which Ewert is known. Here they appear in a more dynamic street wear version. The clothes are sculpted and tailored to perfectly fit the body. Minimal at first sight, but they grow into many exciting touches.
The collection is made to wear straight from the hangar. The forms are comfortable enough to give the freedom of movement component which is a near pre-requisite in street fashion.
The clothes feature pants, tops, coats, jackets, vests, sweatshirts, shirts and T-shirts. The work features many complex prints, angular features, elongated silhouettes and asymmetric details, which are also common in Jaroslaw Ewert’s aesthetics. As every line this time we see branded labels. The colour palette use are greys, blacks, white, metallic silver lame and marble like multicoloured prints.
In the end UNVTD and Jaroslew Ewert have created an exciting new product in the Polish fashion market, which can be easily defend itself on the streets of Tokyo or Stockholm.
