Lodz, Poland – Mixing childhood liberty with the serenity that one hopes to eventually achieve in adulthood, the Polish ready-to-wear brand Nanko presented their new collection for Spring/Summer 2016 at the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week.
The collection consists of blouses, dresses, vests, jackets, shorts, skirts and pants. One can see their signature coats with carefully made oversized pockets. The author took special care of each detail so that the lapels, necklines and belts tied around the waist are manufactured to perfection.
The designer specializes in casual pieces made from fine natural leathers. The solid leather basics are paired with cotton bottoms in toned down colors or in checks. The inspiration behind the work run from the 80’s to the 90’s, especially the old school games.
To add energy we can find vivid colored options made out of synthetics featuring a raw unfinished effect. We also see some strong 80’s prints. The collection has something for all consumers: men, woman and children. The color palettes is tan, black, grey, white, yellow, blue and orange. To finish of accessories include caps, bags and backpacks.
It’s refreshing to see the designer behind Poland’s Nanko brand adding a youthful approach to their work.
