Lodz, Poland – Embroideries and self-made prints are the strongest points in the new work of Polish designer Bajer Ola Bola. “Draumen” is the name of the dreams inspired collection for Spring/Summer 2016.The fluid and ethereal mood is visible throughout the whole collection. Every detail is delicate, subtle, thought-provoking and carefully thought out. The most interesting details are the hand prints on the garments, with yet more disturbing vision of the designers chopped head as a prints. Only the sentences made with gothic fonts feel as though they don’t match to the general idea.
Bajer Ola Bola’s dresses, shorts, coats, pants, shirts and sweatshirts are made out fine quality cotton, silks and chiffon. Each piece is carefully tailored and majestically moves on each of the models. The color palette is another strong point of the work with subtle beige, ecru, whites and navy. This gave the collection depth and romantic musing effect, yet exposing more the quality.
To sum up Bajer Ola Bola came up with some decent and consistent work aimed at the younger audience.
