Paris, France – For the Spring/Summer 2016 season, designer Ivana Djuric reaches back across time and space for inspiration. She does so in order to give us a delightful collection that is all about the portrait of a new kind of lady.
Ivana Djuric starts strong with soft silk and a conservative look of a maxi dress in canary yellow. It has long sleeves and a matching hat. This set the immediate tone for how the designer would evolve the collection to include derivative looks in bold colors such as shamrock green. This one has a long layered back and short front.
Gorgeous is the word that best describes her knee-length blue dress. With short sleeves, she completes it with matching gloves, a hat and a bag. She adds a long red dress with fish tail. She frosts its bust with lace. It has spaghetti straps and a deep plunging V-back.
Ivana Djuric’s vision for Spring/Summer 2016 is one of the most conservative of the season. And however short, it is most efficient.
