Tel Aviv, Israel – Gadi Elimelech’s new collection for Spring/Summer 2016 is everything. It’s inventive, stylish, fashionable and inspired.
Insect life in the animal kingdom provides much inspiration for Gadi Elimelech. We find butterflies, moths, beetles and wasps interpreted in the work both literally and figuratively. The delicate body of the butterfly can be seen interpreted in the prints. Its wings can be seen re-interpreted in the fabrics, which are given more liberty of movement. Jewellery such as neck brooches and belts are designed after them.
Gadi Elimelech built the collection on silk, sheers and velvets.
