St. Petersburg, Russia – In the new collection for Spring/Summer 2016 by designer Anna Ovchinnikova, we find work that is defined by long gowns. And there too is the domination of bustier top portion on the dresses.
The silk prints are the starring attractions. Strings appear on the bustiers. These strings are repeated in the end of the skirts. The collection takes a dramatic turn into the sportswear world. Here windbreaker style jackets in colorful and optimist prints are worn with matching skirts.
Butterfly prints appear in each of the outfits. This portion of the collection is far more interesting and commercial. However, it does indeed lack a necessary variety. Due to this easy way out, Anna Ovchinikova presents for the season pretty much the same two shapes. The only change comes in terms of her colors.
