St. Petersburg, Russia – The 1960’s are back in fashion with the collection for Spring/Summer 2016 by designer Bulana Inga.
The work consists mostly of dresses. They combine femininity with both abstract and psychedelic details. Other garments include tops, faux furs, skirts and leggings. One can find circular cutouts, colourful prints, delicate pleats and patchwork fabric combos.
The leading silhouette is of an A-line. It’s a bell shape that was first made popular in the 1960’s. There’s a visible mixture of fabric weights. Some are flowing while others are sheers combined with multi printed ones and solids. This makes some dresses bounce joyfully while the models walk teamed with the more sculpted ones.
