St. Petersburg, Russia – Serbian designer Danijela Bozic continues to surprise us with the exponentially rapid growth in her work. This time she has brought her talents to St. Petersburg and has shown what modern Serbian fashion is about.
Bozic champions the use of lace and velvet. The velvet is for the earlier spring months when it is still cold. We see a corseted dress with angular tips rising from the bust. The waist is tight. And Ms. Bozic shows the legs.
“I am honored to be here”, says Danijela Bozic. “I just wanted to show that today’s woman can wear garments with inspirations from the medieval times and still be modern. The insignia is the name of this collection. Today’s woman can feel like a queen.”
From there we see the designer working quite a bit with lace, which is also quickly becoming one of her signatures. In gold, the silhouettes are perfectly complimented by the embroideries that we find.
