London, UK – Reinventing modern street wear, the brand KTZ presents quite a dynamic collection for Fall/Winter 2016-2017 on the British catwalks of London.
Combining opposites, the dynamics and edgy details with futuristic minimalism, we find in the work an eclectic mixture of influences in one sport themed work. Marjan Pejowski, the brand’s designer, found inspirations in the electro band Kraftwerk, Russian futurism and American sports.
One can find simplistic jackets and coats with added spice. They are born in the prints, patches and details like the huge pockets and in the multitude of other details. One can also find capes that are inspired by the stars and stripes of the British hammer jack flag. They are classical in form on the coats with the British sports inspired details and various bomber jackets.
The usage of color creates a striking dynamic with interesting usage of prints in black, white, yellow and red. One can see prints like camouflage, zig zags, geometric graphics, contrasting lines and logos. The softer side of this collection is seen in the the classical pants.
Worth mentioning is the diverse selection of sport accessories ranging from glasses, hats, socks, sneakers, boots, backpacks, bags, gloves and scarfs. And to sum things up nicely, the brand presented another outstanding collection to fulfil the needs of the modern rebel. And with it, the catwalks of London has found its new star !
