Milan, Italy – Racing suits, body armor, large lapels, long coats, sexy denims and hooded poncho-like capes are among the numerous elements that work to breathe fire and life into the Dirk Bikkembergs ‘s catwalk appearance in Milan. The new Fall Winter 2016/17 collection re-establishes the house as the one that gives a rugged, hi-octane sex appeal to menswear.

It’s not a secret that such a collection would be dominated by pieces that are cut closely to the body. After all this is one of the codes that have always defined the attractiveness of the all lines at Dirk Bikkbembergs. And to them, there is also a strong hint of fetishism that accompanies the silhouettes too. Here they appear mostly in the form of rugged high boots and short-cropped studded ankle boots.

Little things such as the bow ties, eyewear, bags and gloves offer the possibility of viewing each look and piece with a different eye based on one’s own personal affinities. However quilting, leather and knits with computer generated graphics must be seen as part of the final choice!
