Barcelona, Spain –  “…Because in Winter, more than ever, all flowers are in search of the sun.” This is a beautiful statement from Maite Munoz, the designer behind the label Lebor Gabala. With her Fall Winter 2016/17 collection ‘All flowers in time bend towards the sun’, she aims for a mixture of tenderness and optimism with at the center.

Delicately embroidered and printed flowers are a part the Boho Chic designs are reinvented to be applicable for the cold winter days. Warm, oversized, knitted sweaters are worn over delicate floral dresses. Wool flared trousers appear under shimmery silk blouses, and transparent chiffons pop up from under velvet suits.

Lebor Gabana has an interesting vision on styling which makes all of her outfits unique. The wonderful thing about this is the fact that each of the individual designs are perfectly wearable and can be combined with almost anything. Dark greens, warm pinks, pastel blues and neutrals dominate the color palette throughout the collection. The materials are high quality: extra fine merino’s wool, silk and cashmere. A nice final touch to all of the looks are the shiny silver boots. They not only create a cohesive motive during the presentation, but also follow the ‘shimmering’ trend of which we will be seeing a lot in 2016.

Other wonderful details are the faux fur details on the sleeves and the exquisite silver embroideries on the chiffon blouses, which also create a shimmery effect. “All flowers in time bend towards the sun’ is the perfect collection for the women who want to take their beloved Boho Chic look from the festivals into the festive holidays.
