Novi Sad, Serbia – After taking a break to become a mother, Serbian designer Ana Vasiljevic made a return to the rigorous seasonal demands of fashion at the Serbia Fashion Week. And what a spectacular return indeed! Her new Fall Winter 2016/17 collection is an ode to architectural influence and individual style.
Ana Vasiljevic offers us wears and silhouettes that are dominated by black. To that we find other colors such as royal blue and even white from time to time. However the secret to the collection’s great reception lies within the cuts. Among them we find many asymmetrical angles, double folds and cut-outs. These are the elements that form a true style collaboration that makes it possible for the creation of the geometrics seen in the pieces. Thanks to them and the color blocking, the architectural Ana Vasiljevic ‘s aesthetic is achieved with great ease.
