Paris, France – The new Agnes B. collection for Spring/Summer 2017 is sure to be a big hit next season. This is due to the wide range of offerings that the house has decided to place at the disposition of its loyal clients and direct customers.
The new collection sees the house mixing in lightly constructed, easy-going suits in comfortable airy materials with button-down shirts and knit tops. The pants often times fall an inch or two above the ankles. The blazers are cut short to just below the waist lengths. They are crafted in optimistic olors such a yellow, deep sky blue, and pink; And of course there are the jacquards, the plaids, and the solid which have been duly embellished with geometrical rectangles in a different color.
We see lots of sportswear pieces included into the collection as well. Jersey is used to create leisure suits for the gym guy who wants to look good but who equally wants to avoid giving the impression that he tried too hard. Later in the collection we have the introduction of some cowboy inspired pieces. And of course Agnes B. proposes many strong accessories ranging from hats, belts and shoes to necklaces and neckerchiefs.
Also taking part in the show this season is Afghani designer Zolaykha Sherzad. He contributed several original looks of his own. When placed on the catwalk with the Agnes B.’s work, it all forms a very harmonious and attractive whole. Call it luck or timing, but it works brilliantly.
