New York City, USA – Rihanna looked amazing when she showed up two nights ago in New York! She got all her points and with no deductions as she looked truly stunning in an haute couture creation from the French grand couturier Alexandre Vauthier.

Rihanna loves to make a fashion statement and especially on the biggest occasions. But it is also a well known fact that some of her style choices have not always been in the best of tastes. Yet on this occasion, she looked like a modern goddess with her hair simply slicked back and with large diamond earrings. The dress is a collared gown in tan silk. She wore it with a geometrical, metallic studded grommet belt and high heal sandals also by Alexandre Vauthier.

The gown is one of the most revered looks from the grand couturier’s Fall Winter 2016/17 haute couture collection that he presented in Paris just last month.  Rihanna wore it to the Madison Square Garden event as she performed and as rapper Drake presented her with the 2016  MTV Michael Jackson Vanguard Award.
