Antwerp, Belgium – Razvan Valceanu presented his new Spring/Summer 2017 collection for his RV line. In it we find an ensemble of work that is female-friendly and quite easy to understand from both an artistic and commercial point of view.
Razvan Valceanu starts with super sexy looks. Among them we find short, micro-lengths in the dresses. In fact some of them are so short that are barely the length of a shirt. From this it’s pretty clear that the designer chose not to ruin himself by unnecessarily wasting fabrics. He adds belts to them in criss-cross formation. They serve to add flair and excitement to the already eye-catching silhouettes. The result is something that is simply super sexy.
After a couple of looks with shorts, we see the designer turn his attention once again to short dresses. At this points they seem to be literally built from shirts that have been elongated with only inch or two more of fabric. And he has been careful to do a simple color palette of black and white. These dresses are sexier because they are done in basic cotton reserved for classic men’s dress shirts. They are fresh and youth-friendly because they are very free of the lace and other more delicate fabrics that one would expect to find associated to pieces.
Razvan Valceanu has created for Spring/Summer 2017 a collection that is incredibly consistent and well-conceived from A to Z. His message is clear and without the failures of ambiguity.
Due to its consumer-friendly lines, this is a collection that can be easily valued by buyers and offered to their clients in their boutiques and department stores. That goes hand-in-in with the attention that the collection should logically muster in interest from fashion magazines. In other words, Razvan Valceanu has covered all the prerequisite points needed to construct success.
