Tel Aviv is Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Fashion Week with International Guests and Leading Israeli Designers

Tel Aviv, Israel – Gindi has announced the organization of its milestone 5th Tel Aviv Fashion Week. Held from March 12 – 15, 2017, it will the new Fall/Winter 2017/18 fashion collections by a wide range established and emerging Israeli fashion designers.
Founded in 2011 by Motty Reif, a visionary and chief producer in Israel’s fashion industry, Fashion Week in Tel Aviv quickly gained international claim through the participation of guest designers and fashion houses such as Roberto Cavalli and Missoni. Its fifth edition coincides with the 60th anniversary of one of Israel most famous fashion houses – the swimwear brand Gottex, which in the past has boasted super models such as Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer as its presentors. A special Gottex homage fashion show is going to open Gindi TLV Fashion Week’s gala event on January 29th.
Designer and fashion houses returning for the new season are Galia Lahav, Gideon Oberson, Tovale+, Noveau Riche Dog, Gadi Elimelech, Idan Laros, Shai Shalom and Tamara Salem. And TLV Fashion Week will also feature many new names this season and who will be presenting their collections on the official calendar for the first time. Among them are Vivi Bellaish, Maskit, Keren Wolf, Chana Marelus, Flamingo, Ariel Toledano, Dror Kontento, Elen Lukash and Portay.
Further highlights will include a fashion show by students of Shenkar College, whose Fashion Design department has for the second time in the row been ranked within the top 10 in the world by Business of Fashion.

Fashion Week will be held at the exclusive Gindi TLV Fashion Mall, which will be opened in the heart of Tel Aviv in February 2017. This first of a kind commercial center in Israel, which hosted Fashion Week for the past four years, will hold over 300 prestigious international and local fashion and retail brands, for many of which this will be their tribute in Israel, as well as selected Israeli designers.
