Paris, France – Last week Paris celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the launch of the iconic fragrance, Angel by Thierry Mugler.

Top executives in attendance included Christian Courtin-Clarins, Chairman of Clarin’s Supervisory Board; Olivier Courtin-Clarins, Chairman of Clarins Board; Virginie Courtin-Clarins, Excecutive Diretor of the Thierry Mugler fashion house, which is owned by Clarins; and Sandrine Groslier, President of Mugler Fashion & Fragrances. They welcomed and play host to media, guests and celebrities at the event.

Mugler celebrated this milestone in Paris at the Grand Muséee du Parfum. The gardens of the museum were especially decorated with a special lighting display for the occasion. More than 150 hours were needed to create the display of 450 Swarovki crystals, 10 kilograms of stardust and 50 miniatures Angel were needed to bring the fairy garden into existence.

Among the notable guests at the event were Karin Viard, Elsa Zylberstein, Julie Depardieu, Sylvie Tellier; the current reigning Miss France 2017, Alicia Aylies; grand couturier Alexis Mabille; Elodie Frégé, Julie Ferrier, Frédérique Bel, Sylvie Hoarau, Marie-Amélie Seigner, Willy Rovelli, Alix Benezech, and Joyce Jonathan.

Angel is among the world’s top selling luxury fragrances. At one point its sales were so strong that it detroned Chanel N°5 from its longtime spot as the world’s top selling fragrance. And over the years the fragrance has been most associated with the billionaire legendary supermodel, Jerry Hall-Murdoch.

The Angel exposition will be open until February 19, 2017.
