Milan, Italy – For Fall Winter 2017/18 fashion house N° 21 plans a season of practical style. The new collection is about comfort and easy to understand attire. With this as the foundation and rich textures as the building blocks, this sets the tone for a successful season.
The collection is dominated by wintery colors of camel, black, camouflage, checks, etc. They have been placed on organic materials such as wool, cashmere blends, silks and knits. The collection also has bits of nylon material for some of the outerwear. These silhouettes have trousers cut to traditional volumes and with the legs tapering off as they approach the ankles above which they fall. The length of the trousers and pants is no accident. This allows for the details of the shoes proposed by N°21 to take on more of importance.
There are a lot of hooded looks in the collection. To them N° 21 adds details such as embroideries onto the sleeves as a way of additional unexpected embellishments into the work. The outerwear is big, but not oversized in terms of proportions. For example we see a fine example of a long knit sweater worn. Like other pieces in the collection, it too has bold and bright color blocks. And finally though there are no total looks proposed on the catwalk by N° 21, it is possible to break the looks apart and to reconstruct them as such in a few cases. In the end the house has built a strong collection that is easily appreciable thanks to it very defined objective of proving attractive men’s garment with comfort and style.
