Paris, France – Spring is such an agreeable time for all fashion lovers. And for Dany Atrache it is the season where he can relax and give free run of his imagination to helping women feel liberated, light and fanciful. And of course, he helps them feel this way by offering to them the gift of relentless glamour. They are needed in the composition of his gowns that he considers to be secret gardens.
According to the house, the new Spring/Summer 2017 is nothing less than an “invitation to an easy-going way of living. This collection is designed to be fantastic, smooth and simple, through a true ode to the light”.
The silhouettes are built on a background of muslin, organza, lace, guipure, silk, silk crepe and satin. Dany Atrache places them in colors of yellow, pale green, aqua blue, mauve, white and silver.
The flowers with which he embroideries the collection are handmade in silk crepe. They are used to give birth to beautifully delicate gowns that move with the slightest breeze of air. Though all lovely, the ones of particular preference for this writer are the looks that are composed in two-piece sets. And of course, no one can resist the subtle elegance and sex appeal of his pieces created from his draping skills.
