Paris, France – You now what? I like this new collection by the Japanese designer Tsumori Chisato. It is diverse, stylish, rich in color and has lots of humor. And in today’s fashion world, there is certainly a lot of room for different fashion movements. This writer is personally very happy to see the huge dose of humor infused into the work of this collection.
In this Fall Winter 2017/18 outing by Tsumori Chisato, we see the house working with practical pieces that manage to stretch out for all occasions. They are made extremely visually interesting thanks to Chisato’s unbridled use of color. The wide variety of tones and hues lend themselves perfectly to the wools, sequins, fluffy furs, knits, etc. And as an added bonus, we find many handmade crochets.
Between the appliqués, creative footwear and the fringes, we find ourselves naturally gravitating towards the eclectic range of prints that include bottles, little flowers, hearts, a painter’s palette and additional abstract prints. And though very simple from a conceptual point of view, they all work in unison in order to make this an extremely strong and attractive collection for all to appreciate and enjoy.
