Paris, France – Showing in a what seems to be a very cramped location — due to the space being over packed with excited attendees — Lutz Huelle unveiled in Paris his new body of work for very impatient and enthusiastic fans and fashioninstas. It can be resumed as being for those with tastes in elegance, but with an interest in something also edgy.
Lutz Huelle has decided to mix and patch together tweeds, denims, leathers, quilted nylons and fuzzy materials. They are used to compose silhouettes in which we find voluminous proportions juxtaposed to lines. This makes for an interesting collection for Fall Winter 2017/18. The most appreciable looks always seem to be those with volume in the sleeves, or those where extra attention has been given to the construction of the should work or those with larger, straight cut trousers.
However at times, the collection seems to veer off course a bit and into uncertain waters due to the presence of the pieces with the curly furs materials in blue and yellow. Had they not be include, this would have been an B+ collection. But with them in the mix, the grade drops a few notches to B-.
