Paris, France – Fall Winter 2017/18 just became far more interesting with the presentation of the new collection by Dice Kayek. Structured, refined and yet modern, this new collection is truly what posh women crave.
Nearly each individual piece in the collection is worthy of being singled out for its worthiness. Among the first pieces to get our attention is the long tiered skirt in black. This ankle-sweeping number looks to have been directly inspired by what could have certainly been originally conceived as a short cut, tiered baby doll dress. Voluminous, it strikes a contrast to the other skirts and dresses the collection in the collection whose cuts are straight and whose proportions are far more reserved.
Others include the feminine blouses. Though most of them have a simple base cut for the bodice, the sleeves are where the drama unfolds. Dice Kayek gives them large, giant volumes which results in them becoming the subject of interest. One is in white with prints. It has short sleeves that have been blown up to giant volumes. One can also point out the voluminous sleeves in tulle and that appear in a black dress in crepe. The tulle from the sleeves is also used as an overlay at the bust of this creation.
Dice Kayek goes on to embellish the collection with an assortment of attractive elements such as bow, ruffles and embroideries. This last we not only find on some dresses, but also on the legs of certain trousers.
