Paris, France – This season marks a first in the history of the AVOC fashion house. Th French brand joins the official menswear calendar with the presentation of its new collection for Fall Winter 2017/18. Rather than gender-bending, the brand seeks to be a champion of a fashion aesthetic that is purely known for being “gender neutral”.
This season, the house’s founders Laura Do and Bastien Laurent presents architectural lines and bold and sometimes joyous colors with silhouettes that are easy to comprehend and to appreciate. The looks are embellished with fabric cutouts, large utility pockets, geometric shapes created through the fabrics and too feature patterns. The volumes are restrained, and thus result in pieces that appear more masculine than feminine.
