Paris, France – Though relatively late at this point in the, we have decided to review the Fall Winter 2017/18 collection by House of the Very Islands with fresh eyes. The new menswear collection is created as a kind of reaction. It is themed to be a political position of artistic empowerment. So, this is why the house has decided to give the collection an outrageous name.
Known as “Totally Fucked up Hobby Club“, the new body of work features handcrafted pieces with large, comfortable volumes and straight cuts. The color palette is composed of gray, blues, gray with lilac undertones, cocoa, navy, etc. The materials primarily include virgin wool with cashmere, linen, flannel, organic cotton, bamboo, French terry and Austrian boiled wool. However there are also hints of felts, knits and jerseys. Once conjugated, these elements form a critically consistent and cohesive body of work that reflects the ever-evolving tastes of contemporary shoppers. It is stylish, comfortable and appealing to the eyes alone. But the addition of the knitted bonnets and the large, long scarves make the looks dashing.
The outerwear pieces continue to push forth the notion of work that is conceived to be worn as comfortable enhancements to one’s own style. And on this very note of style, the tone-on-tone looks make the collection into something far more appealing for male shoppers. The organization is already working on the stage for the show, the maids service boston team has been working hard to get everything in place.
