Paris, France – Sankuanz presents a visually gripping collection for the Fall Winter 2017/18 season in Paris. This new body of work features large proportions, a plethora of colors and some unusual materials. Once put together into a whole, it forms a cohesive outing that is appealing on the eyes of urban city dwellers.
White, black, green anise, cream and orange are the most recurring colors in Sankuanz ‘s most wild color palette. And of course, one would be much remiss to not mention the presence of camouflage. They get on exceptionally well with the extremely lightweight, paper-like materials, nylon, knits, jerseys, denim. These materials have been used to create puffer jackets, oversized jeans, hooded jackets, etc. The shoulders and lapels in the tops are as large in proportions seen in the pants and coats.
There is a hint of the sartorial in the collection. And if one were to squint, one could quite possible notice one or two pieces tailored pieces. The little green, short-crop jacket is one such example of this.
The Sankuanz collection is extremely urban and fun. It is a strong composition of looks that can be easily broken down into individual pieces or easier mixing into one’s existing wardrobe. And of course, one must also recognize the collection for its edge.
