Cannes, France – The Oscar-nominated British actress Kristin Scott Thomas has too fallen to the indomptable charms of the Paris haute couture house of Schiaparelli. Last evening all eyes were upon her as she arrived on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival while wearing a dazzling dress in rich shocking rose. She wore it to the movie première of the “The Killing Of A Sacred Deer”.

As this one-of-a-kind dress does not appear in any of Schiaparelli’s officially presented collections, the Dame of the British Empire had to travel to Schiaparelli’s headquarters located on Place Vendôme in Paris in order to have the garment created around her specific body measurements and as part of the process. The trips and fitting were well worth the time investments as Dame Scott Thomas looked dazzling. It is made of pleated silk georgette and features an embroidered lock as its only ornamentation.
