Arlington (VA), USA – In keeping with its long, strong rich history of tailored Italian’s menswear, Italian menswear house Corneliani has put forth it newest collection for the Spring/Summer 2018 season. It is filled with sleek, more form-fitting jackets and trousers. They should definitely hit the mark with a younger more well-heeled, discerning gentleman. Yet the collection does not fail at the same time appeal to its core clientele as well.
The trousers are either dressy or casual. They are slimmer with some being cuffed and slightly shorter being paired with various cuts of jackets; either double or single breasted. The use of a soft kerchief adds a nice astute touch, but not stuffy or bourgeois like an ascot. It thus creates a light, breezy, spring vibe.
The de-constructed anorak is perfect for a spin around on a super yacht or a short jaunt on a personal jet. The first alluring, spell binding piece of the collection is a black lambskin blazer that has the appearance of a under vest with zippered cuffs. When left undone, this will pulsate a very relaxed feel. The second piece is a magnificent blue marine ostrich bomber jacket. The use of super 100s fabrics with patch pockets gives the sport coats a totally updated look on a timeless classic. Linens and cottons are also a key fabric component as well, highlighting the beginning of a festive cruise season.
