Milan, Italy – The strength of Italian menswear pioneer Giorgio Armani has always lain in its simplicity and keen eye for details. This results in the finest for the house’s clients and customers. The idea here is that one can see a timeless look on the clever dressed guy in the collection for Spring/Summer 2018.
The majority of the collection focuses on the different variations on the color grey and with their tasteful shading effects. There are the paler tones, darker hues and with the metallic silver shine. The color ideally captures the details on each set while focusing on the vertical. The options include wide legged pants, shirts, jackets, coats and suits. They are best suited for casual days. The details like collars, lapels, buttons and tailoring are mastered to perfection.
The jackets are most of time double-breasted and feature three buttoned. There is also the 3-piece suit classic. The second part of the presentation has pops of color: white, navy, blue, turquoise, burgundy and purple. There are everyday friendly garments to be found with chunky sweaters and long-sleeves. The details like pinstripe, horizontal lines, roses and geometric shapes, don’t give a striking effect. The aim is to give a defined shape without exaggeration. The whole mood is more subdued, better suited for the warmer days.
