Arlington (VA), USA – Leave it to the dynamic Canadian duo of Dean and Dan Caten once again to seamlessly juxtapose punk, street grunge and biker chic. In their Spring/Summer 2018 collection, they have tinged their work with Hawaiian prints. This creates a Coachella, Burning Man, Afropunk festival-style spirit in this very worthy collection.

The Catens’s new body of work emits a soft throw-back to the flirty 1950s. It simply trolls the main drag anywhere to garner a double take or two. And if you are daring, they also have added for you a drop of naughty S&M that they have lightly sprinkled into the collection. The leopard print and frou-frou layered looks have just the right amount of frill. The oversized, chunky cardigans are embellished with leather and metal buckles in such a way as to give the collection just that right amount of texture. Its alter-ego throw back is punctuated with scout troupe badge filled shirts.

Pastel colored evening wear includes tuxes and ruffled prom shirts created in sheer, sparkling silk.. The look is paired with slim cut pants, which have been coyly camouflaged under sherbet hued tulle. They are in turn paired with a rugged biker boot. This will certainly rev things up a notch or two come spring.
