Paris, France – On the official calendar this season is the Japanese couturier Yuima Nagazato. This is the designer’s second consecutive season as an invited member of the haute couture world. And he is the first designer from the “land of the rising sun” to have this distinction since the legendary Hanae Mori.

In Yuima Nagazato ‘s Fall Winter 2017/18 collection, we see the artist working with squares and rectangles of leather. They have been put together like puzzles in the formation of his looks. They include sports chic pieces, daywear and dinner attire. All save the two “New Look” by Christian Dior-inspired looks, the collection has an edgy kick-ass appeal. And that in spite of the feminine pink.
