Paris, France –As the disco ball shines, so does the excitement start with the new haute couture collection by Alexandre Vauthier for the Fall Winter 2017/18 season.
The dance floor fun vibe meets together with shine, rich textures and distinctive elegance to erect an aura of the cult Studio 54. Sharp geometric lines create mistresses and ruffles for the flamboyant party girl. 80’s glamour in its finest. One shoulder lamé dresses with high slits and metallic long boots catch the eye of the audience. One can find power arms, sheer fabrics, puffy shoulder work, wide belts and wide-legged pants all throughout the presentation.
The work consists of mainly dresses, pants, tops, skirts and oversized jackets. No need to be shy about the intent of these garments. They demand attention by showing off the body or creating sharp drama. Tuxedo cuts, many length options and plunging necklines may scare the noble clients, but everyone wants some fun in their life. The ruffles drape on the dresses from neck to toe to create fluid effects in the metallic fabrics. To finish of the looks structural hats, shiny jewellery and seductive shoes are added.
