Paris, France – It is in an extravagant setting in the Paris’s very posh 8th arrondissement where the grand couturier Alexis Mabille invites the elites of the fashion industry for the viewing of his new ready-to-wear collection for Spring/Summer 2018. Just off of the Champs-Elysées and down from the marvel known as the Arc de Triomphe, the young designer gave us quite the expected and much desired thrill !

With Dita von Teese among his guest, Alexis Mabille debuts a fresh, light prêt-à–porter collection for the season. His Paris Blossom body of work is a signal for young confident women to have no worries. The collection is complimented with lingerie also designed by the formidable Dita Von Teese.

Dresses are masterfully executed in fabric blends such as silk and cotton, crepe and satin, lurex. Of course as it is for spring, several colors are used to also comprise fabrications’ color palette.

The impressive looks are accessorized with crystal snap closures, passementerie belts, adorned white shirt-dresses, and milleraise strips signal the change in seasons. Skirts are tiered with tulle flounces and lace inserts. Trousers are wide and loose, most with a track pant feel. Flounced trench coats in crème topped knit dresses.

As the show came to a close, Alexis Mabille’s triumph was all but assured. Nothing serves as a better affirmation of this than the near uncontrollable applause with which his faithful audience greeted him as he took his final bow.
