Paris, France – For Spring/Summer 2018, Drome cooks up a fashion-forward body of work that does causes one to think, pontificate and reflect again before moving on to fully appreciate the ideas that have gone into creating the new collection. After having done so, one takes note of the naked midriff, the angular shoulders and the leather materials with the brilliant sheen from which the silhouettes are carved out. And they appear on a delightful color palette that includes, fuchsia, mint, lavender, and white accented with splashes of saturated lime, fuchsia and peacock.
In the end, one gains an appreciation for the duality that comes from the soft vs. mighty aspect of the collection. But in this case, Drome leads one to the natural conclusion that “might makes right !”
