Paris, France – This season we see the Parisian fashion house Dice Kayek presenting looks and shapes that make us fall in love all over again with fashion created with a “proper young lady” in mind. Working with its familiar codes such as volumes and purity of lines, we have a body of work that is truly splendid.
Dice Kayek is offering us this season its beautiful painter’s coat – inspired dresses, voluminous skirts, detailed shoulders, large sleeves in soft materials, asymmetric cuts, dresses and skirts of varying lengths. When brought together into the silhouettes under a very careful eye with attention to detail, the garments are splashed with prints, polka dots and with lavish embroideries. The house is doing extremely well once again with its fetish codes such as the cone shape tops, A-line skirts and large bows that have been built into the frame of the pieces.
The house is working with various silks, wools, etc. They have been placed on a rich color palette that includes white, black, navy blue, pink, red, yellow.
Dice Kayek has perfected the art of modern day wear for true proper ladies. Thanks to it sensitivity of the needs of that demographic to which it caters, each of the individual pieces is to be cherished and passed from generation to generation as with any true treasure.
